Description
From March 2 through March 10, ISM Brewing & Kitchen will feature a limited-time pairing menu designed to revisit, rethink, and reimagine the classic beverage dinner. For $40, guests will enjoy a three-course, three-beer pairing experience built around seasonality, bold flavors, and value. But this is more than a pairing menu: It’s an invitation to participate in a larger conversation about where these experiences have been and where they’re going.
Course One
- Beer: Plough & Harrow Classic Saison
- Food: Farmer Fork Salad - Farmers Market-driven vegetables, simply composed and thoughtfully dressed.
Course Two – Choose One
- Beer: San Molino Lite – International Light Lager
- Food: Hooked on a Feeling — char-grilled mahi mahi with miso savor and bold harissa heat.
- Beer: Western Standard Time – West Coast IPA
- Food: Bone Thugs in Hominy — golden fried chicken with a crisp cornmeal crunch. (¼ chicken)
- Beer: Amberlite Firemist – Vienna Lager
- Racks on Racks — dry-rubbed, slow-smoked ribs with real bark and house LBBQ. (⅓ rack)
Course Three
- Beer: Calf Fiend Coffee Brown Ale (Nitro)
Food: B.F.C. — a big, warm skillet cookie with ice cream and salted whipped cream.
On Thursday, March 5, at 7PM, Ian McCall, owner of ISM Brewing, will host a community discussion during dinner service focused on:
- The rise, saturation, and demise of beverage pairing events
- Shifts in guest expectations and spending habits
- What “value” really means in today’s dining landscape
How pairing events can evolve to remain relevant and exciting
"We’ve all seen beer pairing dinners boom—and then fade," Ian said. "Rather than guess what our guests want next, we’d rather ask them directly. This is about transparency, dialogue, and building better experiences together.
