Everywhere Beer Co.—the family-friendly Orange County-based brewery—will be opening a taproom at the former Hangout space on Retro Row after scoring an essential nod of approval from Long Beach's Planning Commission today.

"Actually, before we opened in the city of Orange, our initial plan was Long Beach," said a happy and thrilled Daniel Munoz, Long Beach resident and co-owner of Everywhere. "We were looking at building a full production brewery right off the 710."

Looking at a space that was once a USPS delivery station, the project (sadly) fell through—leaving the brewery to open a location in Orange, where it serves several styles of beers ranging from pilsners and lagers to sours and stouts.
